im back!..just a quick update

I have a confession to make Ive missed blogging so much! I thought with going back to school that I wouldn't have the time but I hit the undelete button and Im back doing what I love.I started school and Im loving it!I've made great new friends.I also started at an athletics club and its amazing my trainer is speed training me which I love!I've been doing a lot more running and enjoy it so much :)

As you can see I run in all weather. On Monday I had training and it was pouring down as usual here in Ireland (don't let the summer pictures deceive you!) and there was lightning and thunder and we all still trained.I cant decide if that was pure craziness or commitment.....Ill let you decide!I've also done some baking..introducing the cinnamon buns! (the icing came later ;)

They were so good!Anyone ever had cinnabon? if  I ever go to America I really want to try them!!!Sorry that the pictures are small!Im just getting back into blogging...may take a while! :P I'll be looking for new things you'd like to see on this blog.Whether its working out or knowing what to eat I'd love to help you out!I'll be getting back into doing my series on weight loss which I hope you will find helpful. Also I'll be linking up for WIAW again which I love doing!Thats all for now and I hope I'll have many readers and commenters again! Irish soda bread

Been meaning to post this for some time so here goes! Its a traditional irish bread and is delicious and soooo sooo (you get the point ;)) easy
Ingredients-
500g plain flour
approx 400ml buttermilk or yogurt(the mixture should be very wet)
2 tsp bicarb soda
1tsp sugar

1.Preheat oven to 200C.Sieve all the dry ingredients into a bowl.
2.Make a well in the center and pour in half of the buttermilk, cut it in with a knife then add the remaining buttermilk and cut in with the knife tilll all combined.
3.Transfer the mix into a small bread tin and cook.It is ready when you can insert a skewer into the center and it comes out clean.Leave to cool and enjoy :)
Note-you can put seed n the top.A fruit soda loaf is great with sultanas and many other dried fruit. You can also add cheese :)

We arrived :)

We made it to england!after a really hard journey. We got two flat tires in south wales which is very very far from devon.A things of a lorry fell of,another mans tire went to.Anyway we had to wait outside a garage after being towed and helped by the police. We waited from 5am and eventually it opened and we got it fixed.Me,my bro and mum traveled for 21 hours i only got 2 hours of sleep and my poor mum got none.My brother got a good bit.Anyway it all ended happily below is where my sister and her fiance, sam, will be living when they get married. Were staying here now and its great.I advise bideford for holiday trips!

Now ill leave you with this, this is me and my brother on the ferry :) As they say here tarra for now!;)

A quick pizza :)

One night we were all getting dinner and since the weddings soon we aren't making big dinners but are using things that we need to use p or eating leftovers,as we don't need to do a big shop as we will be away in England.I came in from my run and decided to make a pita pizza.I knew it would be healthier than a real pizza and way quicker.
As I said I used a pita as the base.I used a wholemeal one as was healthier option. Then I topped with our homemade pizza sauce, sweetcorn, basil and obviously cheese.I used low fat mozzarella.Basically you put you pita and all its topping in a hot pan (with no oil) cook it till base is crisp them pop it in the oven till the cheese is melted and crispy.I served mine with salad you could do sweet potatoe chips or other things with it but I wanted to keep it healthy. It was delicious and I highly recommend!
Anybody done this or something similar?please give ideas below :)
